MY CANDIDATE STATEMENT
I love the City of Laguna Niguel. My wife and I chose this beautiful place to start our family 14 years ago. In an effort to continue our history of wonderful parks, excellent public facilities, safe streets, and a secure environment, I became involved. As a fiscal conservative and owner of a Financial Advisory firm, I served six years on the Investment Banking and Financial Oversight Board. I chaired that committee three terms giving me a unique perspective into the City's finances.
I have been a Planning Commissioner for the last five years which has granted me tremendous insight into the city's current and future development; including the Gateway project. My public voting record as a Commissioner allows residents to know exactly how I stand on current issues.
My children have enjoyed our safe schools and are actively involved in sports. I have coached and refereed soccer for over six years. In 2011, I was honored to be nominated for the "Laguna Niguel Citizen of the Year" award for my various activities in service to our exceptional community.
